ASU - USA Pathways STUDYING IN THE U.S - 09:01 03-04-2017 - TPL

GFIC - The ASU-USA Pathways program is designed for international students interested in obtaining an undergraduate degree at Arizona State University (ASU), or any other U.S. university. It provides support for students who would like to improve their English skills and who want the opportunity to show they can perform well in U.S. university classes. ASU-USA Pathways allows students to adjust to life in the United States, enjoy many campus activities and make friends with American students.

What is the ASU-USA Pathways program?

The ASU-USA Pathways program combines academic coursework with customized, real-time English language and academic skills training. You will be learning the concepts of academic coursework and the necessary vocabulary and English-language skills at the same time, which will improve your performance. This program also is designed to allow you to spend only four years at a U.S. university to obtain your undergraduate degree.

How does it work?

Students can start Pathways in the Fall (August) or Spring (January).

The program consists of three terms.* After completion of the ASU-USA Pathways Program with a 3.0 GPA** or better, ASU will guarantee admission into select degree programs with a sophomore (second year) status. Students can also transfer their academic credit to other U.S. universities, provided they meet the admission standards.

*Completing less than the recommended three terms does not guarantee entering a program at sophomore level, but ASU credits will still be eligible for transfer.
** Engineering requires a minimum of 2.5 GPA in ASU-USA Pathways.
